Dates for the teachers' course will be determined in the future but most likely will occur in April, July and October in each year. The course is scheduled to start spring of 2013. Rider applications are due by August 2012.
French classical riding master Philippe Karl has announced that he is taking applications for an Ecole de Légèreté (School of Lightness) Teachers' Course in Santa Fe, NM. Mr. Bertrand Ravoux, accredited trainer of Mr. Karl's internationally recognized academy, will be lead instructor for this entire program. Mr. Ravoux is only one of 4 trainers granted authority to teach programs on Mr. Karl's behalf and is a trusted and rising young master in his own right.
The Santa Fe Ecole de Légèreté will follow the structure of other Philippe Karl teachers' courses in that the course will meet three times a year - in spring, summer and fall - for 4-days each time. Therefore, there will be a total of 12 days of education per year.

This site will serve as a resource for those interested in taking advantage of this unprecedented equestrian opportunity in the Southwestern part of the US.

- serve as a regional resource for professionals and amateurs seeking to create community and leadership around Ecole de Légèreté principles;
- promote Mr. Philippe Karl's work to the Southwest and beyond.
